Finaly some time to write

Finally some time to write about my first 2 days in japan. No pictures yet though, as this laptop is having some problems with my camera. I will edit them in later on.

My flight was long, but went very well. enough to do. I tried toget some sleep, but didn’t get any. I just rested a bit. Looking outside was very boring just white.. and more white withblue above it. The sun never went under. I had hoped to see a nice sundown from the plane, instead it just kept blinding me when I opened the window. i can’t really remember what i did with my time on the plane… playing on my gba, listning to music…
When we were about to land the shades of white (a cloud layer) slowly turned into more shades of whites (an other layer of clouds).

When we arrived on the airport, and went though costums and we picked up our railpasses (free travel in the Japan Rail network) and stepped on the train headed towards our mansion by train. This was a very nice view of tokyo as we got to see the many assets of it. Area’s with high buildings and large flashy advertisement screens. between those was some nature and houses. When we arrived at our mansion, we did some unpacking and showering and went to akihabara.

We looked around and looked in a lot of game/anime stores. I accidentally walked in to some of the adult sections as they aren’t marked very well. There were a lot of second hand stores, somespecialiced in old games (nes, snes, sega stuff).

Today we went out to a mall. A mall with LOADS of anime and game related shops. I even bought some action figures or statues as they were dirt cheap. When we were done shopping I and an other traveling companion went to get some japanese food while the others went into the first Macdonalds they saw. When done eating we went back to our mansion, and I gave my tiered feet and legs some needed rest and started writing this post.

Just saw a commercial for Nintende DS cooking help/book. TV here is weird, and japanse have a strange kind of humor when it comes to the TV shows.

its 22:00 in japan when i write this… i’m off to bed, for my much needed sleep. I’ll update this post when i get the photo’s.
